Suffolk for the second year running took part in both this year's main and trophy finals of the England Squash Inter County Competition.

First up the U13 Boys team made it through to the main finals following in the footsteps of the U11 girls last season. The team comprising of Matthew Bartley (Morton Hall) Harry Griffith (ISC) Fin Ramsey (Martlesham) Liam Abernethy (ISC) and Evan Gledhill (ISC) became the first ever boys teams to make an ICC Main final which is a huge achievement for Suffolk Squash. The boys put up a good fight with some stunning performances against all three counties but the other teams just too strong for Suffolk to take a fixture. The boys will be back and ready for more next Season.

The U11 girls travelled a player down to Nottingham and put on a great display of Squash. Bonnie Elvin (ISC) claimed a win against Lincolnshire with some very polished mature Squash. Georgia Harvey (ISC) snuck a couple of games in only her THIRD competitive fixture since picking up a racket. This hard work and determination resulted in the girls bringing home a bronze medal for the team, Congratulations girls!

Our U13 Girls narrowly missed out on the main finals of this years competition by just two points, so they looked hungry to bring some silverware back to Suffolk. With some outstanding performances from Emma Logan (ISC) Sophie Singer (ISC) Zoe Tanner (ISC) the girls comfortably beat Essex B, Middlesex and Kent. But unfortunately took the Silver medal home narrowly loosing out to Yorkshire. Still a fantastic achievement which coach Emily Ison was very impressed with. The future looks bright for this young talented team. A fantastic weekend of Squash from team Suffolk, well done to all.
